Where does what take place?
Your planned adventure may take place in different locations. Obviously fun and versatile, but this can also cause confusion.
To avoid confusion, we have created the overview below. Here you will find exactly which activity takes place where and all logistical info.
Route information during the Amstel Gold Race
Have you booked an activity on April 19 or 20? During this weekend, the Amstel Gold Race takes place in Valkenburg and its surroundings.
A very enjoyable time in the Hill Country, but of course the crowds can also cause disruption on the routes to our locations.
We recommend including at least 20/30 minutes of additional travel time.
Route via Berg en Terblijt
We recommend driving towards Valkenburg aan de Geul via Maastricht to avoid the center of Valkenburg. This way you will drive through Berg en Terblijt, where you will have to follow the detour signs to get past the partially closed national road (N590).
Route via Margraten
If this is not desirable you also have the option of driving via Margraten (via N278)
Adjusted route during finds Christmas
During Christmas the route to us is slightly different than normal. This is because the Daalhemerweg is one-way down/direction Valkenburg. It is therefore not possible to drive from the center to our cave location.
Coming from the city center? Then drive via the Cauberg to our location.
It is recommended that you allow for an additional 10 minutes of travel time due to the increased traffic in Valkenburg.

Navigation will direct you to the correct road. Follow this road up to the traffic circle and report to the entrance of the small yellow marl house (cave entrance)
