1. Valkenburg Adventure as a VeBon member.
Valkenburg Adventure is a member of the Hiswa Recron. As such we apply to all our agreements, as far as not mentioned below, the general terms and conditions of the Hiswa Recron.

2. Group size
1-9 people
If you make a reservation for a group of 1-9 people you can:
- book through the website the desired program available for 1-9 people.
- register at predetermined times.
- After booking, no changes can be made to the number of participants free of charge.
10+ people
When participating as a group of 10+ people, you enjoy a number of benefits:
- you can book all programs.
- in consultation with Valkenburg Adventure choose one of our fixed start time.
- no other people join the group.
- you can change the number of participants up to 8 days before the start of the program, no later than 4 p.m.
Please note that the minimum group size must be 10 people.
For requests of more than 20 people: the group will be divided into subgroups of up to 19 people per guide.
3. Program offer
Both for groups of 1-9 and 10+ people, Valkenburg Adventure is open Tuesday through Sunday and 6-7 days a week during Dutch school vacations.
4. Minimum age and height
For parts:
- Cave tour, cultural tour and hiking orientation tour:
- Minimum of 6 years
- No minimum length
- Cave Biking
- At least 1.40 meters
- Scramble
- At least 1.30 meters
- Oldtimer tour
- No minimum height or age
- Driving license B required
- Mountain biking (above ground)
- At least 1.60 meters
- At least 1.60 meters
5. Ban
Use of alcohol or drugs
Use of alcohol or drugs before and during the program is strictly prohibited. Valkenburg Adventure takes no responsibility if participants have used substances.
Valkenburg Adventure has the right to refuse participation in the program to participants who are found to have used alcohol/drugs beforehand, incidentally without the participants then being entitled to a refund of monies paid.
Smoking or vaping
Participants may not smoke or vape while in the caves.
6. Reservation
For 1-9 people
Your reservation is final and binding from:
After booking online by agreeing to the terms and conditions during booking.
For 10+ persons
Your reservation is final and binding from:
Signing (digitally) the offer.
For all groups
After booking, a confirmation will follow by email from Valkenburg Adventure.
On-site sign-in: an adult (at least 18 years old) must be present at all times upon arrival at our location to sign in and register the group.
7. Change in participant number
For 1-9 people
It is not possible to change participant numbers free of charge. If you do not want to run any risk, we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, accident insurance and/or travel insurance from your bank, Recron or via the following link: https://www.recreatieverzekeringen.nl/annuleringsverzekering/
For 10+ people
The client can change the number of participants at Valkenburg Adventure up to 8 days before the start of the program, until 4 p.m. at the latest. If the number of persons of the modified agreement is more than 20% lower than the previous agreement, cancellation fees are due on the difference. See point 8.1
8. Cancellation by customer
The customer can only cancel the agreement in writing at Valkenburg Adventure BV in compliance with the applicable conditions. The date of receipt of the written notice at Valkenburg Adventure counts as the date of cancellation.
8.1 Cancellation fee
Consumers
In case of cancellation by the client, he owes Valkenburg Adventure at least the following:
- up to 56 days before the start: 10% of the package price
- from 56 to 28 days in advance: 25% of the package price
- from 28 to 8 days in advance: 50% of the package price
- within 8 days before the start: 100% of the package price
This also applies if the participant fails to attend the start of the arrangement without canceling.

Business
In case of cancellation by the client, he owes Valkenburg Adventure at least the following:
- for more than 365 days to start: 10% of the package price
- from 365 days to 181 before commencement: 30% of the package price
- from 180 days to 61 before commencement: 70% of the package price
- from 60 days to 31 before commencement: 80% of the package price
- from 30 to 15 days in advance: 95% of the package price
- within 14 days before the start: 100% of the package price
This also applies if the participant fails to attend the start of the arrangement without canceling.

9. Safety and self-responsibility
Valkenburg Adventure guarantees the safety of the materials and fuses used in the program. Of course, the participants must unconditionally follow the instructions of the guides / instructors. If the instructions are not followed and/or insufficiently observed, Valkenburg Adventure cannot accept any responsibility.
Although recreational, the packages involve a sports program. Therefore Valkenburg Adventure is not liable for any sports injuries. Everyone takes part at his or her own risk. Medical complaints should be announced in advance, so that our guides can take them into account.
The organizer of a group is responsible for communicating the conditions that apply at Valkenburg Adventure to all group members participating in a program. Everyone participating should have an expectation of the activity before the start.
9.1 Medical reports
For the activities: Cave biking and Cave biking through time
- Do you have medical complaints such as: neck pain, back pain, balance problems or heart problems? If so, it is important that you are aware of the possible additional risks involved in a cave activity. You may have to fill out a deductible form before the start of the program.
- In case of pregnancy: consult your doctor at all times. Participation is not possible at > 32 weeks
- Do you have medical conditions such as: neck pain, back pain or heart problems? If so, it is important that you are aware of the possible additional risks involved in a cave activity. You may have to fill out a deductible form before the start of the program.
- In case of pregnancy: raad consult your physician at all times. D eparticipation is not possible at > 36 weeks.
- Do you have medical complaints such as:balance problems, back problems or heart problems? If so, it is important that you are aware of the possible additional risks involved in a cave activity. You may have to fill out a deductible form before the start of the program.
- In case of pregnancy: participation is unfortunately not possible.

10. Reserved times
If the participant(s) arrive late before the start of the reserved program (for the correct start time see the written confirmation), Valkenburg Adventure can no longer guarantee the execution of the totally reserved program. Considering the reservation of other groups and/or materials and/or guidance, we cannot exceed the indicated times.
In practice, this means a shortening of the program with no refund of the agreed prices or that you can no longer participate in the program. Our staff can discuss participation at alternative times and/or dates with you.
