The Sibberg Quarry
Bystanders sometimes wonder where all the people are who walk into this small house. Surely no more than 10 people could ever fit in here?
Indeed, this unsuspecting “marl cube” is the entrance to a 70+km long corridor system.
Here awaits the stair descent that takes you 40m into the depths.
Also a useful gauge of whether you can physically handle the cave tour.

How do you set out?
In the quarry it is not just dark, here it is pitch black! Without light, you literally see nothing. Real oil lamps ensure that your path back to the exit is illuminated.

And, don’t forget to bring your nice fleece vest or sweater yourself, because in the cave it is always 12°C
